Sheep n chocolate

'Ello!

Today we were in the car, for the whole time. By the end we were all at the end of our leash. But we passed the Remarkables and sheep and deer farms. (Yes, deer farms) So it was pretty, when I was paying attention to the scenery.

Yesterday we hiked up to Fox and Franz Josepf glaciers. Fox was the prettiest. I, personally, thought that it was boring, but everyone seemed to think that it cool. Uhh-- it was okay. The blue color of the glaciers were pretty though.

My dad saw his first kiwi in the wild the other day! Kiwi the bird, not the people. We've seen plenty of those though!

So were all addicted to these cookie things, called Digestive Biscuits. They're so yummy and chocolatey oaty goodness! We have also rediscovered Kinder Eggs. For those of you who know my own lunch box like the back of their hand, my favorite deserte, Kinder Chocolate, the bar thing with milk and white chocolate, well, here is the cool version of them. Its a hollowed out egg made of those same two layers of chocolate and on the inside, inside a little capsule, is a toy! Me and my sister discovered them in Switzerland when we were there and fell in love with them. Call me childish for loving the toys, but come on, when you think about it, it's a present, wrapped up in chocolate!

Back home it's snowing and all wintery. Here, that's a thought concept we can't conceive.  We have beaches and shorts and sunburns, you have black ice. Raise your hand if you would like to switch with me. If you raised your hand, see if you can fit in my bag for the next time.

Tomorrow we pack for the Milford Trek. I'm super nervous! 53.5 km over four days. You can convert it to miles.

I miss everyone lots! Especially all of my friends and people that I am close to in age other than my sister! Have I mentioned that I miss everyone lots?
