"Let's just leave already.", said Skyler. "I don't want to meet any scorpions.", stated Mckayla.

It's 1:30pm and the business of packing and getting ready is in full swing. So much to do before we actually start driving and leave North Carolina behind. The hardest part of traveling seems to be the getting ready part. My lists are long, luckily the girls are helping and the weather is cooperating.

Starting on Saturday, June 12, the Singleton Family will load up the new van and start traveling west. We plan to be in Salt Lake City by June 16. Our first couple of destinations include the Jefferson Expansion Memorial & Gateway Arch in St. Louis, MO, then onto Colorado to take in the Rocky Mountain National Park and Dinosaur National Monument.

The main reason for heading west is to do a river trip on the San Juan with friends from UT and NC. We will update our posts when we can and upload photos of the adventures.
